THE UNIT
A true union of body and mind, yoga has its origins in the heart of ancient India. Yoga means "UNION" in Sanskrit. It encompasses several dimensions, the most important of which are as follows:
- Devotion (bhakti yoga)
- Right action (karma yoga)
- Knowledge (jnana yoga)
Health and concentration through healthy living and postures (hatha yoga)
HALTHA-YOGA
Youcoach will offer sessions on the last dimension, haltha-yoga, whose objectives are :
- spiritual: disciplining the mind
- corporal: maintaining the body in an optimal state of health
You'll discover breathing exercises (pranayama) and various postures (asanas). These postures often refer to names like tree, cobra, lotus... They enable direct action on your muscles, joints, organs and glands. Maintaining the postures for varying lengths of time will enable you to develop concentration and perseverance in a state of permanent meditation, while breathing slowly or steadily.
TRAINING
The practice of this discipline will be supervised by a professional selected by youcoach.
